Using your Raenest virtual card is straightforward and gives you a secure, versatile global payment option for online transactions. It lets you make secure online payments without needing to fund your card separately. Instead, your card is linked directly to your Raenest wallet balances, making it easier to spend across multiple currencies.
Follow these steps to make the most of your virtual dollar card:
Step 1: View Your Card Details
Log in to your Raenest account and go to Cards to view your virtual card details. You'll find your:
Card number
Expiry date
CVV
Cardholder name
Step 2: Set Your Spending Priority
Before using your card, choose the order in which you'd like your wallet balances to be used for payments.
For example, you can choose to spend from:
USD first
GBP second
EUR third
NGN last
Whenever you make a payment, your card will automatically debit your wallet balances based on the spending priority you've selected.
Step 3: Make Your Payment
When you're ready to pay, you can:
Enter your card details at checkout for online purchases, or
Use Apple Pay or Google Pay if you've added your Raenest Virtual Card to your digital wallet and are paying at a supported contactless terminal.
Step 4: Complete Your Payment
For online payments, enter your card number, expiry date, CVV, and cardholder name.
For Apple Pay or Google Pay, simply authenticate the payment using your device.
Step 5: Confirm Your Payment
Review the payment details and complete the transaction.
For online payments, follow any verification prompts required by the merchant or your bank.
For Apple Pay or Google Pay, authenticate the payment using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
Once your payment is approved, the amount will be deducted from your wallet balances based on the spending priority you've selected.
