What is a Substack Revenue (Payout) Statement and Why Do We Ask for It?

Updated this week

If you earn through Substack you’ll need to upload your Substack Revenue (Payout) Statement during onboarding on Raenest. This report helps us verify your income source and confirm your legitimate creator earnings.

Why We Ask for It.

Writers, journalists, and creators who use Substack typically receive income from multiple subscribers instead of a traditional employer. Your Substack payout statement helps us:

  • Confirm your earnings history directly from Substack.

  • Verify your source of income as a legitimate creator.

  • Ensure a smooth and compliant account verification process on Raenest.

We only use this information for income verification — it’s never shared or used for any other purpose.
