If your Upwork connection fails while setting up Raenest Fasttrack, don’t worry, it can be fixed easily.
In most cases, connection errors occur when you’ve signed in to Upwork using Google Single Sign-On (SSO) instead of your email and password. Fasttrack requires a standard email login to link your account successfully.
How to Fix a Failed Upwork Connection
Follow these steps to switch from Google SSO to email and password login:
Log in to your Upwork account.
Click your avatar (top-right corner).
Select Account Settings.
Go to Password & Security.
Under Login with Google, click Disconnect.
Set a new password and sign in again using your email and password.
Once you’ve made this change, return to Raenest and reconnect your Upwork account:
Go to Connected Apps in your Raenest app or web dashboard.
Click Upwork and follow the prompts to connect.
Once the status shows Connected, your Fasttrack feature will work as expected.
How to Disconnect Upwork from Raenest
If you ever want to unlink your Upwork account from Raenest:
Go to the Connected Apps page.
When your Upwork connection status shows Connected, click it.
Confirm Disconnect.
After disconnecting, any future Upwork withdrawals will revert to the standard processing time (typically 24+ hours) instead of Fasttrack’s instant access.
