If you’re a freelancer who earns through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), you’ll need to upload your Amazon KDP Earnings Report during onboarding under Employment Details. This helps us verify your income and confirm your account eligibility.
Why We Ask for It
Unlike traditional employees who receive pay stubs or employment letters, freelancers often earn from multiple clients or platforms — which makes income verification more complex.
Your Amazon KDP earnings report helps us:
Prove your earnings history on the platform.
Confirm that your income comes from a legitimate source.
Verify your employment status and activate your Raenest account.
The report provides details of your book sales and royalty payments based on your selected royalty rate (either 35% or 70%), including the list price, any applicable VAT, and your total royalties earned over time.
We only use this report to verify your source of income. It is not shared or used for any other purpose.
How to Generate and Download Your Amazon KDP Earnings Report
To download your KDP earnings report:
Log in to your Amazon KDP account.
Go to the Reports tab.
To view the old dashboard, click Reports (Old) on the left panel.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Generate Report.
Once generated, the report will automatically download to your computer.
Save the report as a PDF and upload it under Employment Details in the Raenest app.
Tip: Make sure the report clearly shows your name, the sales period, and royalty totals before uploading. This helps us process your verification faster.
